Another year! And yet another Platinum PADI Award 2015 for our PADI Course Director Holly Macleod at Trawangan Dive; PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) and Resort.
The annual PADI
Frequent Trainer program awards are designed to recognize the most active PADI
Course Directors worldwide and awards are given based on the number of candidates
who choose to complete their Instructor training with a particular Course
Director, plus how many candidates stay on to continue their education and how
much support Course Directors can offer in terms of career development. The
Platinum award is the highest available within the Instructor Development
system and recognizes Holly’s overall commitment to the PADI Education system
and her pure experience in Instructor training and development.
Holly has now certified hundreds of scuba diving instructors
and is well versed in the needs of PADI Divemaster’s looking to further their
careers and dive education. As well as being awarded the Platinum status making
her one of only 25 Platinum Course Directors within the Asia Pacific region, in
2014 she received the PADI “commitment to instructor development award” which
denotes the pure quality of the training and education she provides. This year
she also was awarded the “Elite 300” award which is awarded for the amount of
certifications obtained throughout the year, and a number of “Certificates of
Excellence”, in recognition of her commitment to individual candidates though
their IDC training.
All Instructor level training is conducted at Trawangan
Dive; the only PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) in Gili
Trawangan and the first ever to be established in the Gili Islands. The Dive
Center comprises of all the modern facilities expected from a Career
Development Center including dedicated IDC classroom facilities, 2 swimming
pools and a dedicated IDC boat. Training sites are extremely close to the dive
center and easily reached by boat allowing candidates to maximize their
training in open water, confined water and back in the classroom.
As well as preparing candidates for the Instructor
Examination they learn so much more based on her personal experience within
industry; Holly has worked in a variety of dive related roles and within a variety
of geographical locations so candidates
will have the opportunity to benefit from a world of experience that can only
be obtained within the industry.
If you’re looking for
the knowledge, experience and confidence to go into the recreational diving industry
and develop yourself as a true leader and educator within this fascinating and
dynamic industry this is the best place to start. Holly runs an entirely new PADI IDC Indonesia schedule every month
at Trawangan Dive. To find out more about the program check out the PADI IDC Gili Islands promotional video
